A comfortable escape in the hills

Jagheri Bagh is a serviced luxury mountain lodge on an 8 acre property overlooking the surrounding hills of Shimla and Kasauli.

The property has a long history, having passed hands between Maharajas and Rajas - transformed over the years from orchards to flower gardens to a family home. The lodge itself was built in 2010, fit with all the modern comforts one would require.

It is an isolated, tranquil property with no neighbours visible. Just the thick forest and valleys below.

Spend your days going on leisurely walks through the neighbouring forest or on more serious hikes in the surrounding hills. Take a trip to Shimla, Kasauli, Mashobra or the Kufri Zoo. If you prefer to relax indoors at the lodge, we have a range of board and outdoor games to keep you entertained.

Jagheri Bagh is located near Shimla.

Isolated enough to get away from the crowds and yet convenient enough to get to. We are a comfortable 3.5 hour drive from Chandigarh and an 8 hour drive from New Delhi.

Reaching Jagheri Bagh

  • From Chandigarh take the main highway - NH5 - towards Shimla
  • 80km from Chandigarh you will reach Kandhaghat
  • At Kandaghat turn right and take the road to Chail. This will become the Chail - Kufri road
  • Pass Chail, pass a few smaller towns, till you reach Koti. Koti is 17km from Chail
  • Behind Koti’s main market area, there is a un-tarred road that goes to Jagheri Bagh
  • 1.6 Km later you are at Jagheri Bagh
